It’s been a busy start to the second half of the year for Infusion Online, with four releases delivering improvements across financial reporting, jobs, purchasing, stock and everyday processing.
Some of the highlights include:
Better financial visibility with a new Bank Reconciliation Report and audit trail for deleted invoices.
More control over jobs and profitability, including Work in Progress reporting as at a chosen date and more ways to capture purchasing costs against jobs.
Smarter purchasing and stock, with stronger stock valuation reporting and multi-currency purchasing functionality in preview.
Smoother everyday processing, from safer customer payment processing to improved website product synchronisation.
Some are bigger new capabilities. Others are small improvements designed to make everyday work that little bit easier.

Our product roadmap continues to focus on practical improvements that help teams work faster, reduce manual handling and make everyday processes easier to manage.
Some of the highlights we're working towards include:
Easier reporting and reconciliation, including saved report settings and more flexible handling of customer payments during bank reconciliation.
Smarter everyday workflows, with further Smart Grid improvements across sales, purchasing, jobs and inventory.
Better sales and stock insights, including new sales analysis filtering and improvements to stocktake and replenishment.
Continued multi-currency development, with further receipting and supplier payment improvements and the first stage of general availability targeted for October.
Looking further ahead, we're also exploring improvements across bank feeds, digital supplier invoice importing, reconciliation, quote handling and financial controls.
More practical improvements. Less manual work. And plenty more to come.
Smart Grid gives you more flexibility over how you view and work with information in Infusion Online.
You can hide columns you don't need, organise the information that's most useful to you and export the fields displayed on screen — making busy lists easier to work with.
And Smart Grid is continuing to roll out across Infusion Online:
Now available: Smart Grid for Cashbook Payments.
Coming soon: Smart Grid for Purchase Order Receipts.
Smart Grid can be enabled through your settings, giving you more control over how you work with everyday information.
With new capabilities like Smart Grid, continued improvements across everyday workflows and multi-currency functionality on the way, Infusion Online continues to evolve.

Moving systems can feel like a big undertaking. This is particularly true when there are other changes happening at the same time.

“Our migration was incredibly complex, as it also involved integration with two brand new websites. All my fears melted away when Infusion was able to solve speedily every issue that arose. The finished product is perfect, easy to use and fit for purpose. Infusion is the perfect business partner.”
We've had a few questions about Kitsets recently, so here's a quick refresher on what's possible in Infusion.
Kitsets let you combine multiple products or components together, whether you're creating a stocked kitset when goods are receipted or bringing items together when they're sold.
But they can do a little more than that:
Include non-stocked costs, such as labour or a fuel adjustment factor, as part of a kitset.
Keep costs and sell prices up to date in Infusion Online, based on changes to the individual components.
Serial track kitsets where required.
Use kitsets as templates to quickly load a group of products into a Buildup, Invoice or Quote.
For example, if you regularly transfer heavy stock between locations, you could include a Fuel Adjustment product within your kitset. Update the cost of that component and the change can be reflected in the kitset cost.
