How the Migration Process Works

1. Chat and Discovery

We start with a friendly conversation to understand your business and current setup as well as your business goals.  From there, we recommend the Infusion Online solution that best fits your needs and supports your business goals.

2. Data Preparation and Backup

Our expert team will then help guide you through preparing and securely backing up your data.  This ensures you have peace of mind and know your data is safe and ready to go.

3. Evaluation and Issue Resolution

Once your data is prepared, we test it on our migration server to review and identify any issues. If something doesn’t look right, we investigate, resolve it, and retest, making sure everything is accurate and ready for a smooth and transparent transition ensuring you are kept in the loop the entire process.

4. Migration Go-Live

Together, we set a “Go Live” date that works for you, then complete the move to your Infusion Online solution.  Our priority is to keep downtime to a minimum, so your business continues running smoothly throughout the transition.

5. Onboarding and Ongoing Support

We'll cover the key differences between Infusion Online and Infusion Desktop in the migration preparation or in the "getting started" call.

How much down time will there be to migrate from Infusion Desktop?

We usually have you up and running within 4 hours of receiving your backup.  We'll let you know if we expect it to be longer.

What happens if my business grows and I need more functionality?

Our products are developed to add new capability as your business grows, for example moving from managing one retail outlet, to adding on online shop, or adding a second or third physical shop. Adding new users is easy as is making new functionality available when its needed.

What support options are available for Infusion Online?

Support can be provided by Infusion's Support Team or a Certified Infusion Partner who will work with you to get the best out of Infusion Online for your business.  

We have multiple options for training & support before or after migration including:  Free Online Knowledgebase with articles & videos, Online Training Courses, Support Plans or tailored bespoke training for you & your team.

Will there be a charge?

Yes, there will be a charge for the evaluation and go live steps above.  This includes data uploading, confirmation of data integrity, go live report pack, reports from both desktop and online platforms and a getting started call.  It does not include data preparation work.
